A wind tower is a tall tower structure used to measure wind parameters, that is, a tower-shaped structure used to observe and record the movement of airflow near the ground. Common wind tower structures include self-supporting and guyed types. The tower frame can be a single steel pipe, a triangular truss, a quadrilateral truss, etc. Anemometers, wind vanes, and temperature, air pressure and other monitoring equipment are installed at different heights of the tower.
1.The components of the wind tower include the tower base, tower column, crossbar, diagonal bar, anemometer bracket, lightning rod, and guy wire (free-standing tower does not have it).
2.The wind conditions at the site can be observed uninterruptedly around the clock, and the measurement data is recorded and stored in the data recorder.
3.The installation and maintenance of the wind tower are relatively simple, and the measurement cycle is generally 5-10 minutes.
